I don't do New Year's resolutions or anything similar, but as the year ends, it gives us all a wonderful opportunity to think about what really matters in our lives, and on putting in good guides to live a happier, fuller existence. Also, the end of the year can be a time of great anxiety to many people, for obvious reasons; hopefully this advice will help you navigate the coming weeks! · To work on loving yourself more; with good body care, with good thoughts about yourself, with good rest, with good nutrition, with good entertainment, with good learning. Why? Because your power of attraction begins in the things that you give to yourself. You cannot get from the Universe what you are not giving yourself first, because it is merely a mirror that reflects YOU back at you. How? Putting your peace of mind, your health, and your joy first in your list of tasks. Saying no to anything that interferes it. Setting standards for yourself, and keeping them. Saying no without any guilt or shame. · To work on loving others more, and on bringing value into the world by becoming more. Why? Because the more you give, the more you are, the more you receive, and the more you fulfill your destiny. You are here as a part of the collective upgrade of humanity, and what you do matters A LOT. How? By becoming more, so what you can give grows. Improving yourself lovingly, constructively, and with the anticipated satisfaction of the goodness that it will bring to others. Understanding, at a deep internal level, that the part you are doing is needed. · To work on letting go. Of the past hurt, of the trauma that you carry with you, of the people who don't matter any more, of the identity that does not work towards your happiness. Why? Because all that takes all the room in your mind and your soul. And you need that space to put in abundance, health, love, and greatness! How? Releasing the hurt, and refusing to carry its weight any longer. Understanding that it is not your job to do it, and that the doors to happiness and fulfillment are open in front of you, waiting for you to make a new choice. Not talking or thinking about it unless it is totally necessary. · To enjoy the present AS IT IS, with gratitude and appreciation for everything that's already here, and stop thinking about the future. Why? Exactly for the same reason; anxiety takes all the space, sucks the air out of your experiences, and keeps you from seeing how wonderful your life already is. You cannot chase happiness; either you are happy now, or you will never be. How? Focusing on how big the “small things” are, and squeezing the joy and the love out of them every single day. Counting every blessing that you take for granted. Making the choice to believe that God and the Good Spirits are always around you, and learning to dedicate time every day to feel it.
