Dear participants,
here are the pictures and report for the Spirits Of The Crossroads Service.
The ritual begins, as always, with the setting of the altar; first, all the statues I own of the Spirits Of The Crossroads. But, let me say that many more are included in the casting of this work – some cannot be shown publicly, and for many there are no statues made.
· Six pillar candles in red and black, the colours of these Spirits, anointed with a unique oil formula that has been created just for this ritual, using a mixture of essential oils, herbs, roots, plus Road Opening Oil, Uncrossing Oil, Empowerment Oil, Success Oil, and more.
· Food and drink:
Four bottles of champagne, Pomba Gira's favourite drink. These will be served for her today, and regularly during the next months, on my daily devotions.
One bottle of honey rum, for those Spirits who prefer stronger drinks. This is made in the island of Gran Canaria, and is traditional to our culture.
Coffee from Brasil, first quality, which is a traditional offering for most of them - and for me, I am a coffee lover as all Canarians, and this is my personal favourite too!
Fried Yuca/Mandioca, a staple of AfroLatin food.
Two fresh coconuts.
· Red roses, Pomba Gira's favourite flower, from the farmers' market. From our garden, we offered Red Guava tree branches, which was planted just for Eleggua, and used only on his works.
· A mixture of resin and powder incenses, all of them rose-scented: some made in a monastery in Greece, some made in a monastery in Italy, some from India, some from Jordania, and some from Egypt. These are part of my personal collection, as it is my favourite scent too.
Once the altar was set, an extensive set of prayers and affirmations for road opening, empowerment, and success, as well as a drumming session, was offered for all participants, as well as each individual petition. This took several hours, since the service was a complete sold out. Along the day, the incense offerings will be renewed regularly, as these are all-day events for us.
Tomorrow, all remains will be offered to Exu Okkada, an avatar of Eleggua who lives in the trash – and of course, another of the Spirits Of The Crossroads. This offering will further empower you and bless you!
Below, our most recent subliminal audio, created just for this ritual, that you can use to further empower the benefits of this blessed ceremony!
Many Blessings
